Appointments

The clinicians see their patients by appointment. We have a mixed clinical team made up of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants as well as Musculoskeletal Assessment Physiotherapists. To book an appointment please call 01322 862121, book online if registered for this or by using the myGP app or NHS app. Unfortunately, under current restrictions appointments cannot be made in person at the surgery.

There are appointments available at each session that can be booked up to four weeks in advance for routine medical issues. The remaining appointments are released on the day to accommodate for more immediate problems. If you require advice or an appointment due to sudden illness and the surgery is fully booked, you may be offered an assessment triage telephone consultation. The Clinician will phone you during surgery time to discuss your issue and make an appropriate decision about how to manage your illness.

From Monday 8th February, we will changing slightly the way we book 'on the day' appointments. Once all of the morning slots have been booked, the afternoon slots will be released and will be bookable. Please ensure you do not phone too late in the day if you feel you need to be seen on the day as all of the slots may have gone. If your problem can wait, please book a routine prebookable appointment as these are much easier to book. 'On the day' appointments are for patients who are acutely unwell and cannot wait for a routine prebookable appointment.

From the 1st March 2021, our phone lines will be open from 8am through until 6.30pm each day. Our doors will still open at 8.30am and there will still be lunchtime closures during the week. See Surgery Times for more detailed information.

Many more GP appointments now available in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley

We are delighted to announce that from 1 October 2018, you can book to be seen by a GP, nurse and other health professionals until 8pm Monday to Friday, and at weekends and bank holidays.

This is part of a national drive to improve access to GP services and give people the opportunity to see health professionals at a time that suits them.

The appointments won’t always be at this surgery, but your notes will be available to the GP, nurse or other health professional, providing you give your consent.

To find out more, and book one of these appointments, please contact us and speak to the receptionist, who will help you see the right person for your needs.

We will offer the new appointments routinely but please tell us if you particularly need a Saturday, Sunday or evening slot. We will also tell you where the appointment will be

Please ring NHS 111 as usual if you need medical assistance when we are closed and it cannot wait until we reopen.

for this service you need to let us know at the Surgery and fill out a registration form, providing ID. If you were previously registered but have not yet been re-activated, please contact us at the Surgery and we will send you out a PIN.

BOOK APPOINTMENTS ON YOUR PHONE

Patients for whom we hold a registered mobile number have access to an app called myGP which enables you to book routine prebookable appointments with your GP.

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS ON YOUR PHONE

Patients for whom we hold a registered mobile number will be texted out appointment reminders unless they have opted out. When the text reminder arrives, you have the option to cancel by simply texting back cancel. We also send out targetted health campaigns via text and reminders for vaccinations. Please note, if you have a shared mobile number [i.e. your mobile number is also on other family members records, this means you will receive text reminders for them and sometimes targetted health information meant for them. You may wish to consider having your teenagers providing us with their own mobile phone number to allow us to text them directly.
